West Sabine 11^th grade and select 12^th graders will travel to Tyler, TX, on Thursday,

November 5, 2009,

to visit Tyler Junior College and University of Texas -Tyler.

Please meet in front of the High School at 6:50AM--the bus will leave at 7:00AM.

Below is the tentative schedule of events:

7am-depart WSHS

10:30am-arrive at TJC—eat lunch at TJC Cafeteria

11:30-1:30pm-tour TJC

1:30-2:00pm-travel to UT-Tyler

2:00-3:30pm-tour UT-T

3:30-depart UT-Tyler for Nacogdoches

Eat at Cici’s Pizza in Nacogdoches

Head back to WSHS---we should be back around 8PM

West Sabine will host its Veteran's Day Assembly at 2PM on November 11 in the High School gym.  All local veterans are invited to attend.  Please contact Bridget Trawhon at trawhonb@westsabine.esc7.net or 409-584-2525 for more information.

Join other students from across the state at SFA for Showcase Saturday.  The morning session will focus on Leadership from 10AM-12PM.  Lunch will be provided by GEAR UP.  Showcase Saturday is from 1-4PM.

GEAR UP Field Trip

West Sabine 11^th grade and select 12^th graders will travel to Nacogdoches, TX, on Saturday, November 14, 2009,

to visit Stephen F. Austin State University for Showcase Saturday.

 Please meet in front of the High School at 8:20AM--the bus will leave at 8:30AM.

8:30am-depart WSHS

9:30am-arrive at SFA

10:00-12:00 GEAR UP presentation in the AARC in the SFA Library for parents and students

12:00pm lunch

1:00-2:00pm SHOWCASE SATURDAY

LOAD BUS to head back to WSHS
