Please read with your child each week night to help increase their speed in their reading. We have many second graders that are reading 60 words per minute. You can help your child by asking them to reread a page or two from their story. Upon each reading encourage them to read the page a little faster.

My conference period is each afternoon at 1:40-2:25. Please call or come by if you need to talk about your child's progress.

We are trying to get the children to know their addition and subtraction facts and to get them within 3 seconds.  Please drill with your child.

Please help your child reach his/her goal for the Reading Counts this year. This is most important! You may use the Public library and the school library.
